KayakLogger Privacy Policy

KayakLogger is a local-first utility for collecting kayak training session data on Apple Watch and sharing compressed session packages from iPhone. The current version is designed for training data collection and internal analysis workflows.

• No account system in the current version
• No advertising SDKs
• No third-party analytics SDKs inside the app
• No cloud sync in the current version
• No automatic upload of session packages to Ultrabirdy servers
• No diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation guidance, or medical advice

Depending on device capabilities and permissions you grant, KayakLogger may access or create the following data during a recording session:

• Participant ID entered by you
• Session timing and metadata
• GPS location track
• Apple Watch motion sensor data
• Barometer data when available
• Session annotations or markers when available
• Workout-related HealthKit samples when authorized

• Record a training session on Apple Watch
• Package session files for transfer to iPhone
• Label exported files with a participant ID
• Prepare compressed files for offline sharing through the iOS share sheet
• Combine authorized workout samples with session data for later training analysis

KayakLogger does not use HealthKit, location, motion, or participant data for advertising, marketing, resale, profiling, or third-party AI processing in the current version.

Session data is stored locally on your Apple Watch and iPhone in the current version. KayakLogger does not automatically send session packages to Ultrabirdy servers. Data leaves your device only when you choose to share or export a package using system sharing features.

You are responsible for the people or services you choose to share exported packages with. If you delete local session files or packages in the app, KayakLogger removes the local copy from that device.

KayakLogger requests HealthKit access only for training and workout recording purposes. You can control HealthKit permissions in the Health app or iOS Settings. HealthKit data is not used for advertising or marketing.

Ultrabirdy uses Google Analytics 4 on this website to understand page visits and product interest. This website analytics setup is separate from the KayakLogger app and does not use HealthKit, location, motion, participant, or session package data.
